Membership |
Being a member of Coaches of Canada is a privilege. Members are well respected in the sport community for conducting themselves as professionals and taking their coaching seriously.
Who? What? Where?
Our members include: an Olympic speedskating coach in Calgary, Alberta; a cycling coach in Dieppe, New Brunswick; a para-athletics coach in Toronto, Ontario; an Olympic gold-medal winning Hockey coach in Montreal, Quebec; and a figure skating club coach in Victoria, British Columbia.
We are a member-driven organization and our members are coaches that represent all sports, both professional and amateur. They are people that have chosen to coach and are recognized in their communities from coast to coast (to coast!) as professionals.
How?
Coaches of Canada members have all achieved specific levels of education, certification and experience that form the criteria for Chartered Professional Coach, Associate, and Community/Competitive membership.
A Member in good standing with Coaches of Canada has an up-to-date membership, has supplied a valid Police Records Check (within 3 years) AND has annually signed off on our Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics and the Canadian Policy Against Doping in Sport.
