Why be a Chartered Professional Coach or a Registered Coach?
Being a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) or a Registered Coach is a privilege. After being evaluated by the License and Registration Committee, qualified coaches are provided a Chartered Professional Coach License. Candidates who do not qualify receive the Registered Coach status. The Professional Coaching Department of the Coaching Association of Canada provides these coaches with the rights to use their title or designation, and mutliple other services. These coaches are well respected in the sport community for being qualified, conducting themselves as professionals, and taking their coaching seriously.
Become a Chartered Professional Coach or Registered Coach!
Chartered Professional Coaches have all achieved specific levels of education, NCCP certification, and experience, that form the Chartered Professional Coach Criteria. Coaches who do not meet these criteria will be attributed the Registered Coach status.
Coaches in good standing with the Professional Coaching Department of the CAC have paid their fees for the year, have supplied a valid Police Records Check every 3 years, and have annually signed off on our Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, License Agreement or Registration Agreement, and the Canadian Policy Against Doping in Sport.
