Coaches of Canada is committed to recognizing the important contribution that coaches make to individuals, teams, communities and society.

Every year, Coaches of Canada honours one coach member and one National Sport Organization for their commitment to coaching excellence through the Jack Donohue Award and the Sheila Robertson Award.

We also recognize emerging high-performance coaches at the National Coaching Institutes (NCIs) nationwide through the Commitment to Excellence Award.

And we don't stop there!

Coaches of Canada is the title sponsor of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Coach of the Year Awards presented at the National Championships for each of their 19 sports.

We have also partnered with the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) on their annual Coaching Excellence Award across All CCAA Sports. We are proud of the lead that these organizations have taken in recognizing the hard work of their coaches.

As a member-driven organization, we feel that member commitment deserves special recognition. Each year, at our Annual General Meeting, we present entitled coaches 5, 10, 15 and 20 year honours.
