Professional Practices Committee


The Coaches of Canada Professional Practices Committee shall:
  • initially define the strategic direction of the committee,
  • report to the Board issues of professional practices/standards,
  • be kept apprise of, review and provide recommendations to all professional practice issues arising with any individual member of the organization,
  • review and recommend changes to the professional practices,
  • investigate, review and recommend strategies for instituting a policy on continuing competency for continued membership,
  • define standards for continuing competency, and
  • recommend content for an annual continuing education forum.
Meetings:
  • The Professional Practices Committee shall convene at least six times per year. Additional meetings may be held as required. The Committee will use teleconferences and e-mail as much as possible in carrying on its work.
