Coaches of Canada has five categories of membership Charter Member, Associate Professional Member, Practitioner Member, Student Member and Honorary Member. Candidates for Honorary membership are determined by the Board of directors and approved by the membership at the AGM.

CHARTER MEMBER | | Charter membership represents the highest membership level attainable
within Coaches of Canada. Charter members are granted the Chartered
Professional Coach (ChPC) designation that attests to the highest
standards of education, competency and ethical behaviour. |

ASSOCIATE MEMBER |
|
Associate membership within Coaches of Canada holds the same benefits as a Charter member however Associate members do not receive the professional designation. Associate membership is often viewed as a final step towards becoming a Charter member. | PRACTITIONER MEMBER | Established as a means for Coaches of Canada to recognize those coaches
certified through programs outside of Canada and those individuals that
are committed to the occupation of coaching but may be educated and
trained in an alternate field of employment.

STUDENT MEMBER |
| Enrolment in Coaches of Canada ensures that student coaches are afforded many of the same benefits as those of Associate and Charter members while they complete their university or NCI diploma program. |
