She began coaching in 1984 with the provincial junior team, with the dream

Bruce Pirnie was a member of the Canadian track and field team from
1970 to 1979. He was the captain of the Olympic track and field teams in
1972 and 1976, and was a gold medalist in the shot put at the PanAmerican
Games in 1975. |

Peter Eriksson has been to each Paralympic Summer Games as a coach
since 1984, and the athletes he has trained have won 103 medals over that
time. He is the author of many books on wheelchair racing and athletes
