CODE OF ETHICS |
|
Coaches of Canada holds its members to the highest standards of ethical behaviour. The Code of Ethics is organized around four ethical principles: respect for participants, responsible coaching, integrity in relationships, and honoring sport. |

CODE OF CONDUCT | | Coaches of Canada is committed to providing a sport environment in
which the four ethical principles contained in the Coaching Code of
Ethics are respected and promoted. Coaches of Canada believes that
these values and ideals shall guide the communications and actions of
all members of Coaches of Canada through the Code of Conduct. |

APPEALS POLICY |
|
The Appeals Policy of Coaches of Canada has been established in order to ensure that any member of Coaches of Canada or any other person who is subject to a decision pursuant to the Coaches of Canada Code of Conduct will have the right to appeal. |
|
DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY | | Coaches of Canada has established, through its Dispute Resolution
Policy, a means for all parties who enter into a contract with Coaches
of Canada to resolve disputes via the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre
of Canada (SDRCC). |

EQUITY AND ACCESS POLICY |
|
Coaches of Canada is committed to equity and access, notably for women, persons with a disability and Aboriginal peoples. As such, Coaches of Canada will apply this principle in a proactive manner through its Equity and Access Policy. |

OFFICIAL LANGUAGES POLICY | | Coaches of Canada is committed to ensuring that all communications
and services to its members and to the public are provided in both
official languages and to complying to Sport Canada contribution
guidelines on Official Languages. |

HARRASSMENT AND ABUSE | | With the principles of the Code of Ethics as a guide, Coaches of Canada
is committed to the prevention of harassment and abuse. As such,
Coaches of Canada will apply this principle in a proactive manner in
the development and delivery of its services, activities, initiatives
and practices. |

POLICY ON DOPING-FREE SPORT |
|
With the principles of the Code of Ethics as a guide, Coaches of Canada is specifically committed to doping-free sport, and adopts the Canadian Policy Against Doping in Sport as the anti-doping policy for the organization.
