The Professional Practices committee was established in February 2006 in order to advise the Coaches of Canada board on issues involving professional practices and standards. The committee will apprise, review and provide recommendations concerning all professional practice issues arising with any individual member of the organization. In addition, the committee will review and recommend changes to the professional practices, investigate, review and recommend strategies for instituting a policy of continuing competency for continued membership.
The Membership Committee, established by the Coaches of Canada board of directors, reviews and confirms applications for membership and reports its decision to the board for ratification. The committee will also review and confirm members’ application for the professional designation ChPC according to the criteria in the Coaches of Canada By-laws.
