| | In addition to his
work as a professional figure skating coach Steven is a master course
conductor and trainer of learning facilitators for Skate Canada, a
writer/reviewer of Skate Canada coaching manuals and was a member of
the Coaching Implementation Group (CIG). In addition to his position
on the Board of Directors with Coaches of Canada, Steven is a director
on the boards of the Coaching Association of Canada, the Coaching
Association of Ontario and the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre. Steven
is a strong proponent of the professionalization of coaching. He is
the Chair of the Professional Practices Committee of Coaches of
Canada. He operates as a business management consultant offering
services to coaches and sport organizations across the country. |

| | Ozzie has been active in coaching in alpine skiing since 1989 at the
club and provincial levels working with both able-bodied athletes and
athletes with a disability. In 2000 the opportunity presented itself to
work at the elite level of Paralympic sport as Head Coach of the
Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team. Four highly successful seasons
followed with a number of World Cup, World Championship and Paralympic
podium results. After changing roles in 2005 to move into project based
strategic work in the sport world, Ozzie is presently active in a
variety of international projects through his two companies, one of
which includes Pozitive Results Sport Strategies Inc. |

| Gail brings more than 15 years of progressive experience in all phases of sport development from local to international levels as an administrator, coach and former athlete. A Level 1-4 master course conductor and 1984 Olympic coach for the New Zealand Synchronized Swimming Team, Gail is currently the Director, Sport Development, at Sport BC.

| Leslie is a certified Level 4 coach and a former National Synchronized Swimming team coach. She has either coached or competed in synchronized swimming at numerous major games including two Olympics (Sydney and Athens), World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Pan Am Games, Canada Games, World Cup events, and Canadian National Championships. Currently, Leslie's passions lie in increasing coaching effectiveness through the development of effective progressions and programs; improving physical literacy in athletes; improving metal skill training in younger athletes; and developing "Finish Line Training" for high performance athletes.

Currently, he is the head coach at the National Cycling Centre -
Atlantic Canada. Luc has along history with the Canadian Cycling
Association. He has coached for the Canadian National Cycling Team at
Paralympic Games, Pan Am Games, World Championships and several
international projects. |

| | John is currently the Director of the National Coaching Institute
Saskatchewan and is the Coaching Development Manager for SaskSport
Inc.He is a Level 4 certified athletics coach, a past Executive
Director of the Coaches Association of Saskatchewan and a current
member of the Board of Directors of the Coaching Association of Canada.
He is a man who has pretty much done it all on the Canada Games scene.
He has been a part of every Games since 1981 as an athlete (1981),
manager (1985,1989) coach (1993, 1997) mission staff (2001) and finally
head coach (2005). |

|  | |  |  | Provincial Coaches Association Representative | | For the past 12 years Gordon has been the Executive Director of the
Coaches Association of B.C. Prior to this, Gordon worked for 11 years
as a Sport Consultant with Alberta Recreation and Parks in Edmonton
where he collaborated with 20 sport organizations in the area of
organizational development. In this capacity, one of Gordon’s
responsibilities included the assessment of sport plans, and the
allocation and distribution of provincial grants to eligible
organizations. As both a Sport Consultant and Executive Director,Gordon
has been involved as Mission staff for the Canada Games and Western
Canada Games, a staff member with the Commonwealth Games, and a Sport
Exchange Coordinator between Japan and Alberta. He is also aboard
member for provincial multi-sport organizations, a member of the BC
Sport Leadership Council, a member of the Provincial/Territorial
Coaching Council, a member of the Special Olympics BC Leadership
Council, and is involved in various provincial coaching committees. |
| |  | Canadian Olympic Committee Representative | | Alex is a certified Level 5 athletics master coach. Currently he is
Senior Director, Olympic Programming, Technical, with the Canadian
Olympic Committee. Alex has over 30 years of sport experience, holding
positions at the National Sport Centre Winnipeg (General Manager) and
Athletic Canada (head coach and Chief Technical Officer, Chief
Executive Officer and Director of Technical Programs). Throughout the
course of his high performance career, Alex has developed an extensive
international head coaching resume that includes guiding Canada at
the2004 Olympic Games and the 2003, 2001, 1993 and 1991 IAAF World
Track and Field Championships. Alex lives in Winnipeg with his wife
Sandra Rettie, a former National Athletics Team member, and their four
children. |

| Christian is a certified Level 4 snowboard instructor and currently in
the midst of completing his Level 4 NCCP. He brings 20 years experience
in a sport that is only approximately 25 years old. Christian began his
coaching career as a Technical Coach for the Japanese National Team.
From there he moved on to his tenure as Head Coach of both the SBX and
Alpine Canadian National teams and now has over 100 World Cups, 3 World
Championships and 1 Olympics under his belt.
In addition to his
position with the Board of Directors, Christian is also the Director of
Development for the Canadian Snowboard Federation where he directs the
Canadian Snowboard Coaching Program. As director of the program,
Christian leads both the educational curriculum and the professional
day-to-day activities of active snowboard coaches in Canada. |

Level 4 certified coach, Danièle helped lead the women's ice hockey
team to seven straight world championships and a silver Olympic medal
in Nagano (1998). As head coach and general manager of Canada's women’s
hockey team for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, she led the team to its
first-ever Olympic gold medal. Currently, Danièle is a hockey
commentator with Radio Canada and is a spokesperson for the Coaching
Association of Canada. In addition, she is a Sergeant with the RCMP and
Montreal Urban Community Police. Danièle has extensive experience in
human resource management, coaching, leadership, evaluation,
communication and the making of a winning team. |

| John is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Coaching Association of Canada. A former Olympic canoe coach, he was founding Director of the National Coaching Institute Calgary and is President ofthe International Council for Coach Education.

| David is a certified Level 4/5 coach and a former coach of the Canadian Nation Swimming Team. Dave is a high energy, articulate, professional leader in the sport community in Canada. Mr. Johnson, a first generation professional coach in the sport of swimming, has through his advocacy, vision and leadership left an indelible mark in the Canadian sport landscape. A passionate and committed sport leader, Mr. Johnson has proven ability as a builder and manager in the performance sport and coaching scene. He has been instrumental in incorporating the Canadian Swimming Coaches Association (1993) and the Canadian Professional Coaches Association (2005) as well as creating the National Swimming Centre partnership network in Canada.This swimming model has been utilized as a model for many of the successful sport partnerships for other sports in the Canadian SportCentres.

|  | |  |  | ChPC, Provincial Coaches Association Representative | David has a master’s degree in Coaching Studies from the University of
Victoria and is completing his PhD in Cognition and Learning at the
University of Western Ontario. He is a certified Level 5 Sailing Coach
in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). A Chartered
Professional Coach (ChPC), David is in charge of the Coaching Studies
program in the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health at the
University of Winnipeg and is the Director of the National Coaching
Institute, Manitoba.
David’s teaching and research interest
encompass a variety of areas related to coaching, most notably motor
performance and sport ethics. As an athlete, David played a variety of
high school sports and competed internationally in sailing for 7
seasons, retiring following the 1980 Olympic boycott. David spent 18
years coaching sailing in the summer and working in the winter as a
professional ski patroller/downhill ski instructor north of Vancouver
BC. Turning to full-time coaching in 1992, David coached provincial
sailing teams for Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia. While
coaching in BC the province won back-to-back national youth (18 &
Under) championships. During this time, David was also the Soling class
(event) coach with the National Sailing Team where Canadians finished
5th, 12th and 18th, in a field of over 100, at the 1993 World
Championships. Retiring from coaching in 1998 David began a new career
in coach education and managed the multi-sport apprentice coach
practicum during the 1999 Pan-Am Games. |

Director at Large (Non-coaching function) | Denise is the Customer Service Senior Manager for Eastern Canada with
FedEx in Montreal. Denise is heavily involved in community outreach
programs, passionate about healthy competition and a strong advocate
for fitness and involvement in sport. She is a speaker and facilitator
of Safe Kids, Junior Achievement Program and, most recently, a Youth
Leadership Facilitator for CAAWS.
